Patterned pajamas enable the male protagonists' bodies to blend with each other and with the surrounding sofa cushions. The watercolors are small and densely painted, inviting viewers to observe them up close. By carefully tearing the paper, the soft fibers at its edges are exposed emphasizing the painting’s materiality."
